We are interested in receiving applications from candidates who wish to study subjects that are related to the UK's international priorities. For Mexico priorities are

  • Promote a low carbon, high growth, global economy (including climate change and sustainable development)
  • Develop effective international institutions, above all the UN and EU (including human rights)
  • Prevent and resolve conflict
  • Counter terrorism, weapons proliferation and their causes

Additional Information

Duration and coverage:

The scholarship lasts one year.  The scholarship covers subsistence and fees up to £12,000.  It does not include transportation to the UK.  The value of the scholarship will be reconsidered in the event the candidate receives funds from other institutions. The award received is not a loan. 

IMPORTANT

The deadline to upload your application is September 30.  There will be no extensions.

If the applicant works for an institution holding an agreement with British Chevening Scholarships, he/she will have to apply under the Chevening Scholarships Scheme.

The selection processes are the responsibility of the evaluation committee.  The results agreed by the committee are confidential and irreversible. The scholarships are provided by competition.  Complying with all the requirements does not guarantee receiving the award.
