Looking Back At My Chevening Year
I couldn't have spent a wonderful year at the London School of Economics if I hadn't got a Chevening scholarship. I was determined to try for a scholarship and so deferred my admission for a year - which turned out to be the correct decision.

No Longer The Invisible Woman!
In 2002, I was awarded a Chevening scholarship. I had been working in a small non-profit organization which worked on local development, especially with fishermen and fisherwomen in the State of Bahia, Brazil. After many hours of internet research, I decided to apply to the MSc in Anthropology and Development at LSE.
